Soundart Radio: An Elizabethan Evening with a Contemporary Twist

Soundart Radio: An Elizabethan Evening with a Contemporary Twist

Soundart Commuity Radio is now 8 years old. To celebrate this event and to help ensure the future of the radio station we have gained some sponsorship from Amelia Marriette from Talking for My Dinner and been offered the magnificent Great Hall, Dartington to celebrate our anniversary. We are holding an Elizabethan Evening. There will be a three-course meal, and Amelia will be giving her new talk called "Shakespeare Today: Exploring Shakespeare Cultural Legacy". Amelia wrote the talk by the Devon Guild of Craftsmen to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare’s birth. It was presented at the Guild in March last year to a sell-out audience. It promises to be a fun filled evening of food, drink and chat!

By supporting this event you will be helping to ensure the future of the radio station described by Elizabeth Mahoney of The Guardian as being both "highly local and impressively far-reaching."
