'Peppered'

'Peppered'

Tuesday 19 August 7.30 pm

‘Peppered’ is an urban fairytale with a message, spanning a day in the life of two teenagers who come face to face with their future, shortly after the release of the Beatles album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, in the summer of 1967.

Linking to each track on the album, the story touches on common issues facing teenagers today - drugs, relationships, and what their future may hold, yet giving an amusing adult perspective on some of the changes experienced over a generation.

This is a stage play version, adapted from the radio play, written by Les Veale, winner of Best Technical at Teignmouth One Act Play Festival 2014. The performance will be followed by a Director’s Debate. Plans for the development of Brixham Theatre will be on display and we welcome your views and feedback.

Tickets free but must be obtained in advance.
