Cockington CourtCockington Court Craft Centre & Country Park

Cockington Court Craft Centre is a 17th century manor house and studios set within 460 acres of beautiful country park. The Court, Sea Change Studios and Stable Yard are home to over 20 highly skilled craft-workers, all of whom can be seen demonstrating their skills as you tour their studios.

Also when you visit don't forget to pop into the Kitchen Gallery in the Court.

Our ambition for the Centre is to make it a must visit destination and centre of excellence for Crafts and Creativity.

Our craftsmen and women are:

The grounds around the Court are also full of interest. Behind the house are the peaceful walled Rose Garden and Organic Art Garden, the latter being a treasure-trove of useful tips and ideas on wildlife-friendly gardening and successful vegetable-growing. Walks and ancient paths lead from the Court all around the estate and these are well-signposted; walking & cycling leaflets are also available inside Cockington Court.

Cockington Court Craft Centre is open all year round and entry is free of charge.

Vera Stride

Vera StrideA great place to visit for all ages. The grounds are beautiful all year and the excellent work in the craft studios.

Deborah Treliving

Deborah TrelivingA walk in Cockington Court Country Park is to be recommended in any season. Spring at Cockington is lovely: the rhododendron at the gatehouse has been magnificent. The park is loved by us all and is an inspiration to artists, craftworkers and poets. The walk up the valley from the seafront, through the water meadows is beautiful, as are the paths and bridleways radiating up the valley from Cockington.

DIANA TREGASKES

After taking a walk in the wonderful grounds of Cockington Court, you are also given the chance to visit the 10 craft studios in the Court and Stable-yard, where you will find three different Artists, a Rocking Horse maker and Glassblowers to mention just a few.
