ART COURSES & CREATIVE BREAKS
Coombe Farm Studios, Dittisham, South Devon was founded in 1983 by Paul and Tina Riley in an area of outstanding natural beauty and huge creative talent. Coombe Farm Studios run a variety of art courses throughout the year both residential and non-residential. Paul Riley is a renowned artist and is lead tutor at Coombe and has established himself as one of Britain's leading watercolourists. His work has colour, vitality and freedom of expression, complemented by a deep understanding of draughtsmanship and form. Paul has written three bestselling instructional books on watercolour painting and writes regular articles for leading art journals. He has also presented a short TV piece on Monet's garden for the BBC. He is also a competent printmaker, potter and sculptor.

Coombe has an exciting team of professional artists who work alongside Paul teaching ceramics, painting and printmaking including Jill Fanshawe Kato, Bettina Schroeder, Laurel Keeley, Mic Chambers, James Stewart, Gerry Dudgeon and Kate Marshall.

Coombe is the home of artists and a place for artists to come and develop new skills and work in amazing surroundings, using Coombe's landscape and location near the south coast as a constant source of inspiration. Coombe has plans for an artist in residence programme in 2012

COOMBE FARM GALLERY
Founded in 1993, the Coombe Farm Gallery presents the work of new talent from the south west alongside acclaimed artists of national and international repute. Currently the gallery is showing the work of Paul Riley, Laurel Keeley, Jill Fanshawe Kato, Anne Farag, Richard Snowden, Christy Keeney, Andy Waite, Sally McCabe, Suzy Fasht, Fran Benatt, Nick Agar, Rosalind Wyatt, Sarah Thirlwell, Gerry Dudgeon and Pauline Lee. It has regularly changing exhibitions throughout the year.
