Crimebeat fund

Purpose of Fund

The purpose of the fund is to support local groups in Devon, Torbay and Plymouth that are benefitting community residents by promoting crime prevention and/or Community safety.

Projects must enhance the skills and personal development of people who are at risk of:

- Offending
- Anti Social Behaviour
- Drug & Alcohol Abuse
- School Absenteeism

Criteria

Grants range from £500- £1,000 (Larger grant awards will be considered in exceptional circumstances – please contact the office to discuss your project before submitting an application.)

1. Your group must be based in Devon, Torbay and Plymouth with benefit to community residents of the same.
2. Your project outcomes must be to enhance the skills and personal development of people who are at risk of the following:

- Offending
- Anti Social Behaviour
- Drug & Alcohol Abuse
- School Absenteeism

1. Your project must demonstrate crime prevention and/or Community Safety.
2. Your project must be completed within one year of the grant offer unless agreed otherwise.
3. Any grant monies awarded must be spent and evidenced (by sending DCF a completed End of Grant Report within 12 months of the award date).
