PRODUCTION MANAGER - A rare opportunity to join an established British luxury accessory brand based in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside close to historic Salisbury.

ENTRY LEVEL GRADUATE PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR position also available. Salary details upon request.

We are looking for a dynamic, hands on, highly organised and self-motivated Production Manager to join our busy studio team. Experience of working in a apparel / textiles production led role is essential. The Production Manager supports and works closely with the studio team at all stages of production, from planning, sampling, sourcing, to quality control, delivery and resources.

Production

Critical path management through the production cycle
Implementing production schedule and allocating work lists
Prioritising to meet delivery deadlines, within budget and to the highest standard design specifications
Creating and maintaining technical packs to include sampling and product specs,
Working out the Bill of Materials (BOM)
Daily communication and negotiations with factories, agents and suppliers – chasing queries and overseeing issues
Submitting bulk orders, monitoring deliveries of materials against orders, maintaining product standards and implementing quality control processes
Researching, lab dips, sourcing and ordering components, packaging and labels
Coordinating orders with suppliers, materials & available stock
Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed
Processing orders

Stock control
Regular stock take and reconciliation of stock
Processing purchase orders on Sage
Co-ordinating packing processes including liaising with couriers & ensuring safe packaging of delicate materials and pieces
Overseeing call-ins & sample returns
PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Preferably a min. 2 years experience production co-ordination/3-5 years production management experience ideally in the apparel / textiles industry;
Highly organised and confident with managing the critical path
Excellent admin skills and good attention to detail
Preferably previous experience of working with UK and overseas factories;
Strong and confident communicator with good written and spoken English;
Adept at multi-tasking, working under pressure and prioritising a heavy, demanding but varied and interesting workload;
Good working knowledge of Sage and Excel - producing and managing spreadsheets;
Ability to think logically and work through problems efficiently and effectively;
A tenacious, proactive and outgoing attitude;
