Poetry Picnic at Greenway Walled Garden

Poetry Picnic at Greenway Walled Garden

5.30-7.30pm.
As part of the Writing Places project, you are invited to bring along a picnic and something to sit on and enjoy an evening of poetry in the beautiful Walled Garden. Our writer-in-residence, Miriam Nash, will share some of her own work as well as hosting a poetry open mic – sign up early for one of 10 three-minute slots (family-friendly poems only please!).

Suitability: Children are very welcome. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Meeting point: Please park in the main visitor car park and follow the signs to Visitor Reception, then to the Walled Garden. Meet in the Walled Garden.

What to bring and wear: Bring a picnic and any low-backed seating you may require. Remember to wrap up as temperatures drop during the evening.

This event is free, but please book in advance if you would like to read a poem as places are limited.
