Time Stood Still a Play for Totnes

TIME STOOD STILL
A play for Totnes
Totnes Civic Hall June 5 – 9th 2012

‘Time Stood Still’ is a play written especially for Dartington Playgoers by Nick Stimson. It is inspired by Totnes, its people and its stories. Although the story of the play is fictitious it is based on authentic material. It is about two families, the Averys and the Millmans who went from being the best of friends to the worst of enemies. It is about how the people of today must find a way to resolve the tragic mistakes of the past. The play uses music and song and is a tale of magic and memory, of love and growth, of hate and forgiveness. Don’t miss being part of it, because
Our next FREE workshop for the community play is on Sunday afternoon 2-5pm February 5th. At Dartington Space studios. This is a chance for people to come along – without commitment to performing, to find out more about the play and to have a bit of fun rehearsing/improvising some of the situations within the play – the workshop will be run by Nick Stimson – the author, and me!
