Salisbury Contemporary Craft & Heritage Festival

Salisbury Contemporary Craft & Heritage Festival

Salisbury Contemporary Craft and Heritage Festival showcases the rich and vibrant heritage of Salisbury by sharing the skills of local and UK design and craft makers through various activities including heritage talks in the Talk Tent, contemporary and heritage workshops, tours of the cathedral and participatory activities for all ages. Salisbury Contemporary Craft & Heritage Festival is a charity event run with any surplus proceeds going to local causes, predominantly relating to arts, craft and heritage.

Salisbury’s Contemporary Craft & Heritage Festival aims to become one of the largest and most prestigious festivals of its kind in the UK, showcasing both contemporary crafts and heritage skills.

The Festival takes place on the West Lawn within the grounds of Salisbury’s medieval Cathedral, which attracts over 2,000 visitors each day. The Close around the cathedral is home to some 400 residents as well as to Arundells, the former home of the late Sir Edward Heath, and a number of Museums and National Trust properties.

Salisbury Contemporary Craft & Heritage Festival is a charity event run by the Salisbury Rotary Club in association with Salisbury Chamber of Commerce and Salisbury Cathedral.
