Fascinating insights, facts and stories for natural landscape fans and local historians - a talk by Albert Knott (National Nature Reserve Manager, Dartmoor) on the Art of Managing a Nature Reserve. He will use the rich natural and human heritage of Yarner Wood to illustrate the importance of preserving this unique oak woodland which now has open access to all. The site includes features such the Templar Way granite tramway, Yarrow copper mine and the Bovey Tracey pottery leat. This event is part of the Devon Guild's current exhibition 'Yarner Wood' on show in the Riverside Gallery.
