Crafted: MAKE:CAMP - Build a Star-Gazey Seat in the Woods

Friday 30th September 4pm to Sunday 2nd October 4pm
Tickets £150, students £75, includes camping, forest bar, fireside food, friends, craft, wild swimming, yoga, time and space…

With Tabatha Pope, Ambrose Vevers and Darren Sutton
Spend a weekend in the woods delving deep to make the essentials of any good camp using your hands, basic tools and local materials. You will be learning to make fire the way the ancients did, cook food over the fire and build a group star-gazing structure. Along the way there will be time to swim in the Dart, do yoga, make music and friends.

At MAKE:CAMP you will fell trees using handsaws, peel the poles using drawknives and cleave the poles to build the star-gazey structure, which will then get roped together and completed with arched doorway and seats.

She is passionate about helping groups of diverse individuals to work together to bring forth great ideas. She has facilitated several participatory design labs, including the Woodland Design Lab 2011, and the Greenpeace at Glastonbury creative weekend workshops for the past few year.
