Fossil Fossicking: Talk and Tour

Join Dee Martin for a tour around Torre Abbey's buildings and ruins with a particular theme in mind ... seeking out fossils and geology in unexpected places. Learn about the fabric of the building and the local geological materials. Find out how the Geopark influenced the building of the Abbey and handle archaeological finds from the site.

Suitable for aged 8+. First 20 people can join the tour. Just come to the Admissions area 5 minutes before the start of the tour. No need to book.

Dates: Wed 1st June and Thursday 2nd June 2016

Time: 11.30am and 2.30pm (half hour tour)

Free for Torre Abbey visitors. Entry to Torre Abbey is free for all under-18. For 18 and over there are adult and concessionary rates our day pass and annual pass.
