Trestle CraftBomb: Voluntary Arts Week

Trestle are excited to announce their involvement in the 2014 Voluntary Arts Week, taking place from 9-18 May, during which time people from all over the UK will be taking part in exhibitions, workshops and cultural activities, to help promote and celebrate participation in the arts and crafts.

As part of the festivities, local artist and Gallery Programmer Elaine Johnson will be running a drop-in activity outside the Arts Base in St Albans, ‘CraftBombing’ the beautiful old trees with brightly coloured ribbons and materials.

Everyone is welcome to drop by and join in the fun tying and wrapping the trees to create a colourful, creative piece of art. The activity is free and suitable for all ages, materials are provided!
