Introduction to Clowning with Mick Barnfather

Introduction to Clowning with Mick Barnfather

Actiontrack Presents -
An Introduction to Clowning with Mick Barnfather.

Actiontrack are thrilled to offer this workshop with a top industry professional. Mick Barnfather has been working in theatre as an actor, director and teacher for more than thirty five years. He has been a member of Theatre de Complicite since 1986 and hosts a wide variety of other theatrical accomplishments. He’s coming to Taunton!

If you fancy discovering how to access your own clown or even if you are interested in theatre in any way, this workshop is not to be missed. In this workshop you will look at what it is that makes us laugh and how we can be funny. It is not about big shoes, make up and squirty flowers. You will concentrate on the clown and the pleasure to be ridiculous in the space. The clown is joyful, playful, mischievous and full of fantasy. Nothing in this workshop is related to a style but very much looking to find what is uniquely funny about each person and how they can make that accessible to an audience.
