Webteam Intern

Salary: £9,705 (Age 18-20) - £12,174 (Age 21+)

Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term between June 2014 and June 2015

We are currently recruiting for a Webteam Intern to join our busy IT department. The role will entail supporting all web systems, assisting with project work including developing Moodle, Leap and the college website, and other day-to-day tasks as required. This is an exciting opportunity to learn technologies and techniques in use by the webteam and develop professional skills.

Successful candidates will be required to have a degree in an IT-related subject and 5 GCSE’s graded A*-C (including Maths, English and Science). Candidates are also required to have experience working within a busy environment and good knowledge of using email, Microsoft Word/Excel and Google Apps. You should be able to work under pressure and communicate effectively with both college staff and learners, along with acting as a strong team player with aptitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
