make-shift - a networked performance in Torquay, Saturday 28.1

make-shift Saturday 28th January Torquay/Wellington/online 10am (UK time)

"it conveys an intimate connection between performers, audience and arts that is rare to find.
Yesterday I really thought i was forming a part of the art experience." online audience member

make-shift is a networked performance about connectivity and consequences that connects participants in 2 ordinary houses with online audiences in discussion about issues of consumption and disposability. This weeks event will connect a house in Torquay, Devon with a house in Wellington, NZ through the specially designed online interface accessed at www.make-shift.net

All you need is a domestic broadband internet connection and computer with a standard web browser (note that the interface requires Flash and therefore will not work on iPads); to enter the online interface, follow the live link at http://www.make-shift.net - we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to load the stage and chat with other online audience members.

Please collect all the plastic you have used in the 24 hours before the show (washed if necessary!) and have this with you for the performance.
