Museum's reopening - visit from Oliver Dowden MP and others

To mark the Museum's reopening to the public, Hertsmere MP Oliver Dowden, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, and Laurence Brass, newly elected Hertfordshire County Councillor, visited to see the art displays on Friday 21 May. They were greeted by Museum Trustee Chair Audrey Adams. They were then conducted round the display of paintings by Art Curator Patricia Woollard. Mr Dowden spent nearly an hour with Museum volunteers before going on to new film studios in Borehamwood. He was presented with a pack of the new pamphlets 'Voices from the Past,' covering Bushey's history in the 20th century. Subjects include Schools, World Wars One and Two, Village and Working Life and , of course, Bushey Artists.
