The CHIPPko.ART Gallery is set in a beautifully light and airy room on the first floor of Doncaster’s old art college building, now re-branded as C-View. As well as its much-loved history as a college, the gallery room also featured in the film ‘Brassed Off’.
CHIPPko.ART hosts exhibitions by local, regional and international artists, interspersed with displays of Terry Chipp’s own work.
Artists or groups wishing to stage their own exhibitions can hire the gallery with 20m of linear hanging space, tables and optional easels.
The gallery is also a venue for art courses, demonstrations and workshops led by Terry Chipp and can be hired for meetings.

The CHIPPko.ART Studio is linked directly to the gallery space allowing visitors the opportunity to see artworks in production and to talk with the artist, Terry Chipp.

Terry Chipp is a well established and versatile artist. In recent years he has been invited to work and exhibit in the USA, Spain, Macedonia, Montenegro and Poland where his paintings are held in public and private collections. Painting mainly with acrylics his subject matter is diverse; from landscapes to figure studies, portraits to abstracts but always considering the question of how we see and respond to the world around us.

As a Professional Associate of the SAA artists’ organisation Terry writes articles for their magazine ‘Paint’, has demonstrated on their TV programmes and carries out workshops and demonstrations for art groups across the country.

Original artworks are always available for sale ranging from £20 to £1,000+. Alternatively, commission a painting to your own requirements – all subjects considered.
