Events Producer - Cast (Doncaster)

Contract: Freelance (total of 40 days)
Fee: £5,200 
Start & Finish: July – October 2021
Key dates: w/c 27 September & w/c 4 October 2021

Cast is a professional arts organisation in the heart of Doncaster, based in a twin auditoria theatre venue and presenting performance throughout the year.  We are looking for an experienced freelancer to join our team and support two specific projects taking place this year, Roundabout and We Are Watching.  

Cast is looking for a Producer with the following experience and skills:

Experience of producing and managing outdoor performances and projects, including managing freelancers.
Excellent administration and communication skills with excellent attention to detail. 
Ability to take initiative, showing a proactive support to work.
Experience of managing budgets effectively, accurately and within expected parameters.
An understanding of working with participants and community groups.
An understanding of safeguarding.
A collaborative and flexible approach to work.
Ability to work flexible hours and availability to oversee in person both events. 
Experience of producing or managing outdoor performance (Desirable).
Based in Yorkshire (Desirable).
