Freelance Lighting Designer, Cast Theatre, Doncaster

Cast is a professional arts organisation in the heart of Doncaster, based in a twin auditoria theatre venue and presenting performance throughout the year. They are seeking a multi-skilled stage manager, preferably with experience of working in small spaces with digital animations to join their creative team on Wish, a 20-minute performance for babies ages up to 18 months.

Cast is looking for a stage manager with some or all of the following experience and skills:

Experience of working with digital animations, immersivly and/or in very small spaces.
At least 1 years’ professional experience in small scale theatre
A base in Yorkshire preferred
Experience of running multiple elements of the show (You will need to operate LX, Sound, Digital and move some set pieces as there will be no room for any other staff in the space)

You will need to be available for one day in R&D, and all days at the end of the rehearsal period including tech/dress and opening day (November 29th - December 2nd)

Essential dates 1 day in week of October 18th - 22nd 2021 R&D
November 30th - December 1st December Rehearsals,
Dec 2nd - First performance day

Fee:
£150 for R&D day
£650.00 for design and rehearsal days (Plus travel if traveling over 30 miles)
£800.00 total fee.
If you are required to attend on any other days in the R&D or rehearsal periods, we will negotiate an additional fee.
