International Busking Day

National Busking Day was launched in 2015 and this year has got bigger! Over 50 locations in the UK will take part, with cities around the world connecting and joining the campaign, making it the first ever International Busking Day. The day aims to highlight and celebrate street entertainment and encourage buskers to get out and have a go at honing their talent. Saturday 23 July 2016.

How to get involved?

• Get out there and do your thing! Upload a photo and/or video of your performance to social media on the day with the hashtag #InternationalBuskingDay. It will be reposted and shared throughout the day.

• Support local talent. Let the organisers know about any buskers you've seen on your travels. If they made your day brighter, show your support by tipping them.
• Email info@buskinlondon.com if you want to tell them where you plan to be. They'll put you on the map and send you an International Busking Day T-shirt and stickers to get creative with.
