Trainee: Unlimited (Wakefield)

Salary: £18,500 per annum
Contract: 12-month fixed term role.
Hours: Full time. Part time or a job share options and flexible working hours possible.
Location: Unlimited’s hub office in Wakefield 2-3 days a week and remote working. All the team will work from home, from a local arts organisation base (when determined) and, if within commutable distance, from Wakefield

This is an exciting opportunity to join Unlimited as it transitions from an arts commissioning programme for disabled artists to an independent organisation.

Unlimited is looking for a new trainee to assist with producing projects to develop project management skills, developing and providing resources to disabled artists, coordinating administration for disabled artist’ commissions and to help deliver elements of their marketing and communications work, especially social media and elements of their networking events.

Unlimited is currently an arts commissioning programme that aims to embed work by disabled artists within the UK and international cultural sectors, reach new audiences and shift perceptions of disabled people. Unlimited has been delivered by Shape Arts and Artsadmin since 2013 and is now transitioning into being an independent organisation from 2022, with a new mission, values and ways of working.

This training post is ring fenced for a disabled person due to the under representation of disabled people within the cultural sector and Unlimited is delighted to meet reasonable adjustments, to adjust existing practices and procedures to meet access requirements and supports all team members to apply to Access to Work to cover relevant costs.
