Yorkshire Tourism Industry Response Survey to Lockdown Release

Yorkshire Tourism Industry Response Survey to Lockdown Release

Welcome to Yorkshire are working closely with businesses in the county’s tourism and hospitality industry that are facing the immediate challenges posed by a lack of staff within the sector and the increasing threat that self-isolation is leading to restaurants, bars, accommodation providers and attractions having to close their doors because they do not have enough staff to service demand. In addition, many are seeing bookings cancelled at the last minute due to clients having to self-isolate.

As part of their Tourism Recovery Task Force, they have gathered insight that they will share with key policy makers to highlight this immediate and growing problem with it expected to only increase after the 19th July.

Following the Government’s most recent announcement to ease all lockdown restrictions on July 19th they are conducting further research into the industry sentiment, which will be shared with their stakeholders and policy makers.

They would greatly appreciate it if hospitality and visitor attraction businesses would complete a short survey to assist them - please share this as appropriate.

Please see link below for the survey.
