Curator - role profile

Plymouth City Council is embarking on a £32 million capital redevelopment project that will transform its museum and art gallery into a major cultural destination for Plymouth and the Southwest peninsula. And we are looking for the right candidates to join us on this journey.

In particular we are looking for a curator of art who will drive the collections management programmes and re-interpretation gallery plans for the fine art collections in particular. The curator of art will report to the collection manager but will need to work closely with the other members of the collections team. You will have significant experience of working with history collections including fine art, be forward thinking and flexible.
