Manager £20k - £22k pro rata depending on experience (£8840.00 based on £22,100 pro rata)
Hours: 30 hrs. p/w, usually over 4 days; May – November 2016
Homotopia champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people's lives. The organisation produces year round engagement programmes and an internationally renowned arts festival every November. We are looking for an exceptional & proactive individual for a new position of ‘Festival Project Manager’. This is an exciting opportunity to join a unique cultural organisation with an international profile. The role will provide organisational, curatorial and administrative support, coordinating the preparation & supporting the delivery of the Homotopia Festival in Liverpool November 2016.

You will be part of a highly skilled team and will be based between the Homotopia office and occasionally work on site at various performance venues. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-starter with strong initiative & an interest in cultural diversity.

It is essential that the applicant has;
• Strong computer skills & knowledge of digital communications, Mailchimp, Content management Systems (CMS), etc.
• Has experience of working in an arts organisation or an arts related industry environment
• Has experience of project management and delivery
General duties to include;
• Festival/project/marketing, event & curatorial support,
• Low level fundraising, advertising & sponsor liaison
• Organising audience & market research with volunteers
• Manage social media
• Supporting the production team throughout festival period
The post will be based at the Homotopia office in central Liverpool. This is a part time contract over 6 months which will include some evening and weekend work at events.
