SoundStorm and Wave are Bournemouth and Poole’s award winning music and cultural education agencies, leading the Music Education Hub for the conurbation and the Cultural Hub.

They require a new member of staff to cover a key team member’s maternity leave. The post will help support the burgeoning programme of work, with particular emphasis upon the music education hub remit, following the confirmation from Central Government of three-years Music Hub grant funding (2017 – 2020), and other ongoing programmes and commissions.

The person required should have significant project management experience, preferably in a music education or cultural setting, along with an ability to manage a varied programme of work. The role will involve considerable liaison with schools, partners and funders, so a personable and positive manner when dealing with stakeholders is essential. This is an exciting opportunity, joining a busy but friendly team at an important time in its development. Because of the nature of the post, being able to drive and having access to a vehicle is an essential requirement.
