Site Manager, Port Eliot Festival
Port Eliot Festival is looking for a new Site Manager to join their team. Port Eliot Festival prides itself on being a literary event unlike any other. The grounds of the Port Eliot Estate with all its history and connections in the art and literary world provides a very unique and complimentary backdrop to the Festival which comes together with heart, soul and a little magic creating a very exceptional experience. The organising team is small and intimate with experience across many different professions and highly skilled in facilitating events.
The role of site manager is integral to the senior management team of the Festival. Essential to this role is advanced skills in site planning on CAD or vector works and a keen interest in problem solving and creative planning. The role oversees all aspects of infrastructure planning, booking suppliers and core contractors and working with the Festival management team to produce clear plans in advance of the event. Onsite you would be responsible for the site crew and feeding into operational planning where necessary to ensure smooth running of the event.
