The Craft Revolution Project Coordinator, Dartington Hall Trust

This role plays a critical role in developing and supporting our varied and ambitious Craft Learning Programme at Dartington, Devon.

We are looking for a dedicated and versatile individual to coordinate our course development and project management, event planning. To create and improve income generation and sustain administrative systems and be adept and active in using social media to promote and sell our courses and brand. The role also requires budgeting experience for managing tenants in our Makers Space, The Shippon Studios.

This role will suit a strong and experienced Project Coordinator with well-honed administrative, organisational, event planning and project development skills. Have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively. The role supports The Head of Craft Learning in the running of the office and supporting the delivery of the Craft Learning Programme.

You will demonstrate sound understanding of the work of The Craft Revolution and the vision of the Dartington Hall Trust. Personable, articulate and confident, your exceptional communication skills will enable you to build an effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers and providers. You will have experience in tracking and receiving orders for goods and services, and holding responsibility for uploading course material, marketing and booking and scheduling events using Spektrix event management software.

The role includes pitching course ideas, creating new and developing on-going relationships with tutors, negotiating course content and pay. Providing practical and administrative support of the running of courses, attending events and responding to course enquiries and handling bookings.

Supremely well-organised and a team player, you will be structured and methodical in your approach whilst remaining flexible to meet the varied tasks, priorities and deadlines. Highly computer literate, you manage your projects by implementing efficient electronic filing and record-keeping systems to support the work of the Learning team. ‘Tech-savvy’, numerate and analytical, you will learn software with ease and act as the departmental ‘super-user’ for a number of internal systems.
