Theatre Workshop Assistants, acta Community Theatre

acta is currently seeking people with some experience of leading workshops with children and young people, teaching experience or similar, to assist the acta production team, supporting young people taking part in a play in 4 days project at acta centre on 9 – 12 February.

This project is for young carers, many of whom will be coming to acta for the first time. The assistants will support the young carers outside of the drama workshops, on arrival and leaving actacentre, and in breaks and at mealtimes.

Hours will be 9.30 – 3.30 Tuesday – Thursday,

9.30 – 6.30pm on the Friday,

payable at £10 per hour.

There will be more learning and first job opportunities coming up later in the year for anyone interested in leading drama and theatre workshops alongside experienced acta workers.
