Meet the Writer; Bernadette Russell – Event

Meet the Writer; Bernadette Russell – Event

As a child Bernadette made up stories to escape reality, as an adult she became passionate about finding and sharing the stories of people who might not normally be heard- she will talk about how reading saved her, read some of her work and discuss how to approach and be inspired by biographical and life writing if, like her, you are a bit shy about sharing it! There will be a discussion about truth and lies and storytelling, and the various ways of getting your work “out there” in a highly competitive industry. This event is open to the public but disabled and marginalised people will have priority booking.
