South Somerset Association for Voluntary and Community Action

SSVCA are writing to let you know about their exciting new traineeships in Volunteer Management. They are looking for 16 individuals to work in full time, paid roles within the National Trust. The trainees will work as junior volunteer managers under experienced and supportive National Trust staff. They will gain valuable on the job experience as well as being given the chance to complete an ILM Level 3 qualification in Volunteer Management.
The best bit is they are not asking for qualifications of specific experience, but rather they want candidates with a can do attitude, an interest in further learning and a passion for working among the volunteering community in one of our stunning properties. This is a Heritage Lottery Funded project, and they have a specific interest in attracting younger people (25 and under) and BAME groups to the role, although it is open to all.

The roles are spread throughout the country and the closing date is the 15th October so they don’t have much time to spread the word!

I have attached a leaflets with information on how to apply here:

Please share this fantastic opportunity, and contact Libby Wingfield (Volunteer Management Traineeship Project Manager) directly on the contact details below if you would like to know more!

Please note my working days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
