Open call to work with a professional dance company on a new performance in Torbay

Dance in Devon are calling out for people of all ages to come together for a unique chance to work with Impermanence Dance Theatre to create a brand new, inter-generational dance piece. The new work will be performed at Come, Dance With Me, a social dance event as part of the International Agatha Christie Festival, in Torbay on 14th September.

Impermanence are a Bristol based company creating critically acclaimed work for stage & film.

Who can get involved?
This opportunity is for all ages, if you love to dance and want to explore new ways of moving – this is for you. We would like to create an inter-generational cast of performers for this event.

This opportunity is ideal for those with an interest in performing and a desire to further their dance experience. Some movement or other performance experience is useful but not essential. You will need to commit to the rehearsal dates.

When?
If you would like to get involved in this exciting opportunity you would need to be available on the following dates for rehearsals and performance:

Rehearsals:
1st, 7th, 8th September 2019

Performance:
14th September 2019, as part of social dance event ‘Come, Dance with Me’ In the Spanish Barn at Torre Abbey as part of the Agatha Christie Festival.

“It was great to work with a professional choreographer in my local community, and to perform at such a joyful event!”
