U.Dance SW Regional Platform

Dance in Devon is excited to announce that we will be hosting the U.Dance 2019 Regional Platform for the South West at Dartington on Sunday 14th April 2019.

Each year the U.Dance National Festival showcases a selection of the best youth dance groups from all over the country. But it’s not just about performance, the dancers take part in workshops and masterclasses with industry professionals, inspire each other with their love of dance and develop their understanding of the dance sector.

Next year we are celebrating the U.Dance National Festival’s first return to London since 2012. One Dance UK in partnership with Southbank Centre are pleased to present two performances in the Queen Elizabeth Hall showcasing England’s talented young dancers. Plus other performance and workshop opportunities across the weekend.

For South West youth dance groups to be in with a chance of performing at the U.Dance National Festival in London 2019, they must first apply to take part in the South West Regional Platform hosted by Dance in Devon at Dartington SPACE Studios on 14th April 2019.

The Regional Platform is a celebration of youth dance from across the South West.
