We are reaching for the future. One foot in the past. Why QWERTY? Why indeed.

The QWERTY keyboard was designed so that a typewriter could be used without all the arms jamming together, the letters assembled to allow faster typing.

We don't use typewriters anymore. But we wouldn't accept the change to a far easier, ergonomic change to layout. An example of tradition gripping us, forcing us backwards not forwards.

But is there anything wrong with that?
