'Think of an animal' drawing workshop by Al Heighton

Doncopolitan are inviting everyone to this drawing and doodle workshop hosted by Al Heighton, one of the UK's top illustrators and frequent artist in Doncopolitan. Al’s main goal is to help people understand more about drawing and to demonstrate how himself draws and creates art through various techniques.

Before you come to the event...
Think of an animal! An elephant, a crocodile or even a saber tooth tiger, think of something you would like to draw, and come bring your pen and pencil to this event and get some help on improving your knowledge on drawing and maybe even pick up on a few tricks along the way. You don’t need to have any experience with drawing or being an artist, everyone is welcome and we hope to see you on the day.

This event will also be apart of Doncopolitan Crawl, Doncopolitan Crawl is an alternative night where you can immerse yourself in Donny culture, discover new venues, view and buy art made by local creatives and meet a diverse range of interesting people. A big thank you to the Arts Council England for funding Doncopolitan Crawl.

The event will be taking place on Wednesday the 17th of July from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Doncopolitan HQ.
