Participants Needed For The Day We Played Brazil

Participants Needed For The Day We Played Brazil

Exeter Community Arts Project is searching for 120 people from aged 11-99 to make and perform The Day We Played Brazil, the new musical play which is set to be the biggest cultural event in Exeter for many years. Central to the story are the 1914 Exeter City football team so we are calling all young men out there who’d like to have a go at singing and dancing to come along and get involved. To complete the cast, there are performing roles for men and women, boys and girls aged over 11 to play the host of characters involved in telling this epic tale of Exeter, football and the 100 years since the Great War.

To find our 120 performers a series of Workshop-Auditions will be held in February 2014, which will involve singing, dancing and acting as part of a large group. The Workshop-Auditions are open to people for whom this will be their first ever experience of taking part in a show as well as those who have been on the stage before. There will be something for everyone who takes part in this production from smaller roles to larger roles, from solo singers to chorus.
