Volunteer with Green Hill

Volunteer with Green Hill

Green Hill is a fabulous new dedicated arts and history venue on the edge of Dartmoor.

We are looking for volunteers to help on our reception desk and with arts administration as well as helping out at private views and general maintenance between exhibitions. We are also interested in help regarding publicity, marketing and fundraising. We give full training and our team is friendly and welcoming. This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in curating or the arts in general, for example a graduate in need of some experience or a fundraiser with a track record in the arts and charitable sector.

Expenses can be also paid.

Who are we:

Moretonhampstead Development Trust opened the doors to Green Hill for the first time in December 2011 to a stunning transformation of the old school building into an extensive, mixed-use community resource. The attractive Victorian schoolhouse now incorporates a contemporary art gallery, heritage displays and archive, a number of purpose-built artist’s studios and a large dedicated youth centre. Green Hill attracts a diverse audience to enjoy a programme that nourishes the arts and crafts community of Dartmoor and encourages visitors from far and wide to engage in contemporary visual art. Come and visit and see for yourself.
