Craggy Cliffs & Sunny Coves

An exhibition of oil paintings by Chris Elsden.

Chris Elsden’s oil paintings depict some of the most beautiful stretches of the South Hams coastline of the South Hams and show the effects of changing light, fast approaching storms or the sunny beauty of a tranquil bay on a beautiful summer day.
The exhibition will include work in a range of sizes, from small, open edition reproductions to 48” framed oil paintings on canvas.

Chris has been painting for over forty years. After studying at Guildford School of Art he spent much of his career in the design and marketing industry. Now living in Devon and painting from his studio overlooking Start Bay, his seascapes and paintings of dramatic cliffs and sheltered bays could be described as impressionistic.
