Threads is the synthesis of sound, dance and light, bringing to life textiles and their history in Yorkshire and telling the stories of the women and children who produced textiles in Yorkshire’s mills and factories. Together with young people from Kirklees, SAA-uk artists present a unique performance exploring the hidden history of mills, the evolution of textiles and how they connect Britain with India pre-1947 through sound, music and dance.
