Nature-inspired Collaging Workshop

Nature-inspired Collaging Workshop

As part of Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust's "Herts Wild Art" project this summer, we are delighted to be working in partnership with local artist Sarah How to offer this wonderful introduction to collaging.

Collage is the technique and the resulting work of art in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric and other materials are arranged onto a backing. It can be a collection or combination of various things intentionally collected or randomly picked.

Using wildflower meadows as inspiration for your collage, spend time learning collaging techniques from local mixed-media artist, Sarah How. Enjoy a sociable and mindful day at Leavesden Country Park’s The Hive creating your own collage from hand painted and recycled materials.

Essential Information:

Booking essential. Suitable for adults and young people aged 16+. Small capacity workshop of 10 so book early to avoid disappointment.

£30 per person including all materials

Bring your own lunch and refreshments or purchase from the cafe next door.

This workshop is kindly supported by a grant from The Arts Council with proceeds going to support the work of Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.
