Comedian makes film for Holmfirth Arts Festival Online 2020

Comedian Kieran Hodgson is to perform at Holmfirth Arts festival Online 2020.

The Holmfirth born comedian, who now lives in London, has made a show, in the form of a short film, especially for this year's festival.
His performance will be streamed on Saturday 19 September, from 7.30pm, as part of the online festival event, which is to air over three nights.
The triple Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee comes to Holmfirth Arts Festival with a work in progress show, ahead of something new.
Naturally comedic Kieran will tell about his struggle to get back to his green and pleasant homeland from the Big Smoke.
Kieran, who was brought up in Holmfirth and lived there until he was 18, said: "The film is kind of a road trip back home. It’s a bit about the stage I am at in my life. I’m not sure I enjoy London as much as the ‘paradise’ that is Holmfirth.
“I talk about how you can’t run away from the problems you have.
"We wanted to film at the top of Holme Moss but the weather got the better of us.
“To me Holmfirth was magic. I am very, very lucky to have had the childhood that I did and enjoy the opportunities for outdoorsy-ness that Holmfirth has."
Previous shows have concerned themselves with France, cycling, classical music, and European politics.
Tune into the festival at 7.30pm each night on 18, 19 and 20 September via our Facebook page and You Tube channel.
