Ian Clegg Walsh Visual Artist

Ian makes digital art based on his original sketches, montaged with layered tones from his photography. The element of chance is an important contributor to his works, and he believes that this allows it to grow beyond style. He describes his work (under pressure) as surrealistic investigations.

The visitor will recognise familiar surrealist imagery, naive forms, and occasional cultural references, but hopefully will also see something new.

In June of 2014, Ian reached a milestone with his first publication of two of his works in Volume 4 of the "And/Or Journal" published in New York by the Sophia Omni Network (www.and-or.org)

Twenty of my prints are currently on show at the White Stag in Mirfield. There's a fair selection of old stuff (old means around 2006!) The two pictures that resemble Marilyn Monroe and John Lennon are from my mosaic day...
