Events and Corporate Partnerships Coordinator - Opera North

Working within the Development team, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the events programme. You will also work closely with our corporate partners and sponsors, ensuring a high-quality experience that delivers return on investment. If you’re a creative thinker who would enjoy the challenge of working on a vibrant and varied events programme as well as supporting Opera North's work with the business community, you’ll flourish in this role.

As they open their new home in central Leeds, following the £18m Music Works capital redevelopment, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in delivering supporter satisfaction and achieving strong donor retention rates. You’ll be joining a team that works collaboratively and strategically but always with a focus on the company’s objectives, as well as playing an important part in driving income to support Opera North’s work on stage and off.

Salary: £22,500

Requirements include:

Can write persuasive and compelling copy.
Have demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising environment or leading on events.
A proven multi-tasker with an assertive approach and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
Have a good understanding of fundraising for the arts.
