Kirklees Concert Season 2021-22 Tickets Now on Sale

The Kirklees Concert Season is heading back to Huddersfield and Dewsbury Town Halls in September with a spectacular new programme of orchestral, chamber and organ music.

The sound of the Orchestra of Opera North will once again fill Huddersfield Town Hall as they perform a magnificent programme including Elgar's 'Enigma Variations' and Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony.

The Organ Season returns with our new Guest Curator, David Pipe at the helm and includes a farewell concert by Gordon Stewart, who retired as Kirklees Borough Organist last year after over 30 years with us. However this concert also welcomes him back in his new role as Organist Emeritus! He will be accompanied by Huddersfield lunchtime favourite Tom Osborne, co-principal trumpet in the Hallé.

And as part of the lunchtime Chamber Concerts, Quintets, octets and a Café Band will be taking to the stage at Dewsbury Town Hall!

So, if you want to immerse yourself in the grand sound of the Orchestra of Opera North resonating around Huddersfield Town Hall or experience the might of the Father Willis organ after a long period of enforced silence, this sublime season is definitely for you.

Single tickets are on sale now! Subscriber tickets for the Orchestral Season can be booked until 23 September, for the Lunchtime Organ Concerts until 20 September and for the Lunchtime Chamber concerts until 15 September.
