Lunchtime Concert: The World of Percussion

Part of the Kirklees Concert Season 2018/2019

Opera North’s Principal Percussionist, Chris Bradley reunites former students of the University of Huddersfield from the last 30 years. All professional percussionists, the ensemble will perform a programme centred around Steve Reich’s Six Marimbas and also includes the aptly titled Music for Pieces of Wood and some arrangements of well-known melodies taken from the Musser Marimba Orchestra’s 1920s repertoire.
