Coffee Plus - Insider on the Inklings

Coffee Plus - Insider on the Inklings

The Inklings were an informal literary circle in Oxford who began meeting in the early 1930s. The nucleus of the group was formed by C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien who, apparently, loved listening to others read their works aloud.

The first talk looks at the role of the Inklings in the development of children's fantasy literature and their legacy with a particular focus on the work of C.S. Lewis.

Refreshments will be served.
