Free electronic music production workshops for young women

Free electronic music production workshops for young women

Would you like to produce music using free and professional audio software with professional music producers in Huddersfield? We three days of free training for 10 young women aged from 15 to 18 years. No prior knowledge is needed.

You will learn audio recording, Garageband and music production with Caro C on the first day. Followed by an introduction to audio electronics with Vicky Clarke, who will teach you to build a sound instrument that you can control with light! On the third day you will produce music using Ableton Live software, bringing your skills together to make your own original tracks. There will be support on how to find free tools for music production, advice about online resources and this is also a chance to meet other people starting out and developing an interest in music production.

You will also produce a journal to document your learning and qualify for the Bronze Arts Award.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact organiser Liz Dobson (e.d.dobson@hud.ac.uk).
