Mini Miner Mondays

Monday (term time only) 10 .15am – 11.15am

Calling all nurseries and play groups, are you looking for interactive sessions to entertain your pre-schoolers?

You can now book a Monday (term-time only) morning session to bring your group of pre-schoolers along at 10.15am for an hour of storytelling, rhymes, craft activities and songs as they explore the museum’s galleries.

Sessions will investigate what a miner does and includes a themed craft activity which the children can take home as a reminder of their visit.

The weekly sessions, which will take place on Mondays during term-time, will need to be pre-booked through the Bookings Officer (details below).

The Mini Miners team can work with group sizes between 16 – 24 people including adults.

For child-minders who look after a small number of children – why not join up with other child minders and form a larger group so that your children can enjoy a special treat?
Cost: £2 per child, adult helpers go free.
