At Coleton Fishacre this Christmas the gardens are aglow with festive lights. You can help to provide an excellent experience for visitors and bring the event to life.

What's involved?

Assisting visitors at various points on the event route, to ensure they aren't missing anything and are having a great time.

Selling raffle tickets to help fund-raise.

Making visitors feel welcome, answering any questions and encouraging them to get involved.

Asking visitors to tell us about their day, so we can improve future events.

Assisting with closing down procedures at the event of the event, including litter picking.

You are important in making sure things run as smoothly and safely as possible – this includes getting to know health and safety and evacuation procedures.

This role will suit you if you are...

Someone who loves meeting people and enjoys working with families.

Cheerful and positive, even when the weather’s not on your side.

Happy to be outdoors, whatever the weather.

Willing to get stuck in with anything at a busy event.

Reasonably fit – you don’t need to be Geoff Capes, but you could be on your feet for a couple of hours.

Keen to help, but unable to commit to regular volunteering throughout the year.
