OUTDOOR FUN AT OAKWELL THIS AUTUMN

Half-term outdoor activities for children and families

Monday 29 October: Family Forestcraft
10.30am-12noon; £8 per child, £2 per adult

Tuesday 30 October: Bush Babies
10am-11.30am; £5 per child, children must be accompanied

Now is the time to book in for some outdoor fun and games at Oakwell Hall and Country Park in Birstall.
The country park’s popular Family Forestcraft and Bush Babies sessions will be running once again during the schools’ autumn half term holiday.
The Family Forestcraft session is on Monday, 29 October, 10.30am to 12noon. Activities are aimed at children aged five and over. They must be accompanied by an adult who will be encouraged to get involved too. The cost is £8 per child and £2 per adult.
Bush Babies is on Tuesday, 30 October, 10am to 11.30am. The fun environmental-themed activities are for under fives. Children must be accompanied. The cost is £5 per child and includes a juice drink.
Booking is essential for both these sessions as places are limited. Place can be booked at the Visitor Centre and Shop, in the courtyard next to the car park at the top of Nova Lane, Birstall, during its opening hours of 10am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday. Alternatively telephone 01924 324761.
